Technical Info:
Audio One – This is the matrix release and is PCM. It had to be stretched in order to sync it to the video. The first 40 seconds of this track are from the vhs audio (before compression) to fill in the silence.
Audio Two – This is the original vhs audio and is in ac3. I chose to do ac3 so that the video quality could remain higher and so that I did not have to re-encode the video.
Video – Captured with an ATI 8500dv.
The vhs is an unknown gen. Brian Muehlhaus had this to say on netphoria:
I have the complete Storytellers video, even though it isn’t really complete. I have been told that I have one of the lower generations around. Don’t know if that is true, but I got mine from a guy named Jonathan Hunt in 2001 or so. If I remember correctly, some of the songs they played again aren’t on the video I have, so technically it isn’t complete, but I have heard that the complete video with every song that we have on the audio versions isn’t in any circulation. Don’t know if that is true.

  1. I can’t believe I found this. For some reason, any band on storytellers is really difficult to find now. Thanks for this.

  2. These used to be on YouTube years ago, but they were taken down I guess. Thank you so much for rescuing this from the memory hole.

  3. Stunning! I’ve been looking for this for such a long time, this was SP at their best, which means rock’n’roll at its best!
